The Merge
Welcome to The Merge. Ilyres's first personal campaign and case study. This self-initiated serialized campaign was created to demonstrate how we transform merchandise into part of a larger cinematic story. Following Kaelen’s month long (four episode) journey from Ilyres into the modern world. The project integrates our own merchandise naturally through worldbuilding, character development and connected short-form episodes. From strategy and concept development to production, distribution and performance tracking, we will document the complete process. Once the campaign concludes, these insights and genuine results will become a detailed case study showing prospective clients how Ilyres can build an engaging, recognizable world around their products.
Each week, we posted three posters to our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and BlueSky) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday along with a "teasing blurb" for the upcoming episode. Then, based on our own social media analytics, we chose to post the episodes on Sunday mornings for optimal viewership.
